Ian Tickle Takes Charge of Global Field Operations at Freshworks

Chennai: Freshworks Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH) has officially announced the appointment of Ian Tickle as Chief of Global Field Operations (CGFO).

After successfully serving in an interim capacity since April 2025, Tickle now assumes the role full-time, bringing more than 30 years of global enterprise sales experience to the SaaS leader.

Ian Tickle joined Freshworks a year ago and has since played a pivotal role in scaling international sales and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Prior to joining Freshworks, he held key leadership positions including President and Chief Revenue Officer at Domo, and Vice President for SaaS Solutions in EMEA at Oracle.

“In a short span, Ian Tickle has proven himself as a results-driven leader with deep customer insight,” said Dennis Woodside, CEO and President of Freshworks. “His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our field operations and supporting our global momentum.”

In the first quarter of 2025, Tickle helped lead the company to impressive financial results, with revenue increasing 19% year-over-year to $196.3 million, alongside a 30% operating cash flow margin and 28% adjusted free cash flow margin.

Ian Tickle Will Report to CEO Dennis Woodside

Operating from Freshworks’ London office, Ian Tickle will continue reporting directly to CEO Dennis Woodside and remain an integral part of the company’s executive leadership team.

Commenting on his appointment, Ian Tickle said, “I’m honored to step into this role permanently. I look forward to expanding our impact globally by empowering teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

As Chief of Global Field Operations, Ian Tickle is expected to further accelerate Freshworks‘ mission of delivering easy-to-use, affordable IT and customer support solutions to businesses worldwide.
